Here are some of the things we think Hyde Park is for.
~ Watching the world go by with a friend.
~ Feeding the ducks (without falling in)
~ Time with friends and family 💙
~ Teens cycling with friends
~ Rollerskates (inline or 2 by 2)
~ Enjoying looking at a vast open space, and seeing the horizon
~ Selfies with friends
~ Delicious cakes in the cafe
~ Some quiet time
~ Enjoying the sculptures
~ Ducks taking it easy
This is something we don’t think Hyde Park is for- motor traffic.
This is West Carriage Drive- which goes through Hyde Park, over the Serpentine.
We’re not sure the traffic helps the atmosphere. Do you? 🤷🏼♀️
We think parks should be for people, and cakes, and ducks.
Not for cars.
This is West Carriage Drive again.
People must put up with this, but another road here is under consultation.
