They live under 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park, and spend a lot of time here with their lively \u2018Battersea\u2019 cockapoo, Teddy. Chris told us that they love living so close to the park. \u201cIt\u2019s the best back garden anyone could ever have, and it attracts a gloriously varied cross-section of London life, people of all colours, from all creeds and backgrounds. Chris, Ari and Ted have to cross the road at this zebra crossing on Stanhope Terrace. They are lucky, perhaps, to have a zebra crossing, but Chris still finds it infuriating, especially when walking with Ted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/freshminster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12\" srcset=\"https:\/\/freshminster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/4.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/freshminster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/4-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/freshminster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/4-768x576.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHalf the time the drivers don\u2019t bother to stop for us, even though we\u2019re clearly standing here waiting to cross\u201d he tells us. \u201cThey\u2019re going much too fast, and a lot of them are just passing through here. Do they even realise people live here? What a difference it would make if there was less traffic here, what a huge difference to our day-to-day life. And if they haven\u2019t solved the problem of all this through-traffic by the next election, we\u2019ll be holding them accountable\u201d. &nbsp; &nbsp; Strong words from Chris.
